The idea behind the project was to create a 3D mock-up for product packaging. I used an imaginary company and product in order to show a design aimed at an environmentally friendly company and target audience.
Using trends for pastel colours and white to give the product a clean and simple design, including the tree outline adds the natural element in the forefront. The focus on greens and neutral colours fits with the natural ingredients feature and the simple design gives it a more expensive feel while also including all the relevant information on the product.
One thing I would change if I were to work on this as a design for a company would be to maybe work on the lid design some more. It works as a side on it's own but when seen with the front and side images the tree comes to an abrupt end, it might work better as a smaller image within the box behind the text or find another way to make a more subtle edge to the design.
