The brief was to create a header image to be used on the Twitter account alongside the first post for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The logo was already provided and the outline was to create something that was eye catching, followed the charity's logo style, and would update their image to make it more modern.
I used the rcommended sizes for the different social media sites and picked colours from within the logo to create custom social media symbols on the design. The original idea was to spread them out and have their handle next to each so they could be easily found on each of them but, as they used the same one throughout, they decided to move them close together to make them stand out more.
One change I would make is to alter the font used, I would find something that was either plainer or would match the painted style of logo for the headers and use the capitals for the main text.
